Who is the client and why did they come to us?

Client: Trutex

Industry: School uniform

Target customer: Parents of school children

Trutex is a UK based uniform brand that has been supplying quality garments for over 150 years. Their heritage for quality gives them a leading edge in the market, providing the very highest standard of schoolwear and sportswear for children throughout the UK and beyond.

Our main focus was to maximise sales over Trutex’s summer peak season as children prepare to return to school for the start of term.

So, what did we do?

First and foremost our initial priority was to ensure brand protection against competitors through ramping up display activity to retarget site visitors and basket abandoners, while also increasing our visibility across our core brand and brand related terms. We then introduced additional shopping campaigns including trending and bestselling, to improve our visibility across more generic searches and acquire new customers.

Geo-location targeting against ex-stockists tested brand loyalty and proved successful in winning sales from the previous stockists, while competitor targeting against the top supermarkets in the UK boosted brand awareness and attempted to secure further sales.

During this period we increased our communications with the client and delivered more in-depth reporting to display changes in search trend data, due to a later increase in demand than initially anticipated.
