Salary: £25,000-£35,000, dependent on experience, plus pension and benefits package

About the role

We’re recruiting for a super talented marketing manager to join our rapidly-growing agency. This is a unique and fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing manager with proven success elevating a brands visibility and voice.

This is such a rare, and rewarding role in building up our Ortus brand from effectively a “start-up” position since our re-brand in February 2021. You’ll be paramount to Ortus’ brand perception and voice and getting us seen by our target audience. You’ll work closely with our Associate Director to plan and implement incredibly creative and clever campaigns to drive awareness, visibility and credibility in our industry.

In the Marketing Manager role you will:

  • Be outcome-focused, methodical, and be able to use a range of content types and platforms to their maximum potential.
  • Be dynamic and proactive, and a real ‘self-starter’ with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Deliver PR & marketing activities to build visibility and consideration of the Ortus brand.
  • Ensure consistency of the Ortus brand, across all internal and external touchpoints.
  • Engage with key media outlets and stakeholders to promote Ortus.
  • Create and support with copy and content for press releases, co-marketing activities and our website.
  • Collaborate with our Associate Director in marketing ideation and strategy sessions and see these ideas through to successful completion.
  • Measure performance and hold yourself accountable to KPIs
  • Confidently manage the marketing plan, be able to organise your own workload, work to deadlines and prioritise tasks.

About you

What you’ll offer us:

  • Fresh ideas and the ability to translate these into successful, creative campaigns
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications
  • An existing network of press relationships and PR contacts
  • Experience and proven success in a marketing/brand manager role where you’ll have previously delivered brand growth/inbound leads through your creative brand ideas, strategy and campaigns.
  • A good understanding of/willingness to learn about the paid marketing industries and platforms
  • A quality-first attitude, with a real desire to make things happen
  • A highly organised approach to our marketing plan. With the confidence to overseeing complex and multi-service projects, working to deadlines and prioritising tasks to keep on top of multiple campaigns, clients and other tasks.
  • Initiative and enthusiasm to shape and progress our marketing strategy as an agency. You’ll have a knack for identifying new opportunities and areas for improvement, and have the confidence to try and suggest new ideas.
